Alda Noni (April 30, 1916 – May 19, 2011) was an Italian soprano leggiero, one of the leading soubrette of the immediate postwar period.
Alda or Alde of Alania was a princess and the second wife of King George I of Georgia (r. 1014–1027). The couple had a son, Demetre, who played a notable role in the civil unrest of Georgia during the reign of his half-brother Bagrat IV.
Alda Merini was a famous poet from Milan. She often wrote about her stays in a mental hospital from the 1960-1970's... she liked to use madness as a form of expression.
