Amore is literally the word for “love” in Italian language. Some baby name websites say it is from French origin, which is incorrect because the French word for love is actually “l’amour” or “aimer”. The Spanish word for love is “amor” so it has a close connection, but if the spelling is with the “e” at the end, then it is Italian.
