An acquaintance from Western Ukraine is called Solomia -- is this a variant of Solomon? or of Solange? (see the dictionary for this site)
Secondly, is Volin South Dakota called after Volynia in Ukraine --and if so, why? (my late brother-in-law (not urki) was born there)
