"Yaweh" is the Gentile "translation" of the Hebrew יהוה, the name of God. The name is considered "un-utterable" and was only spoken on the High Holy Days when the Temple in Jerusalem still stood, and then only by the High Priest.

The four "un-utterable" letters are called the "Tetragrammaton."

If you would like to investigate the Name further, my suggestion would be to Google Orthodox Jewish websites, rather than Gentile for the true background and history.
