The competitors will show their skills in different (and very exaggerated) challenges both individually and against each other. Imagine how many Mary Sues you're able to throw in there...
Of course Marigold will do excellent in all of them with inhuman grace. Oh, but in one of the challenges she will lose her composure because of her bloodlust. But as the Mary Sue she is, she will be excused because she's still young as a vampire (and who could deny her anything anyway?).
