Reply to: self-fanfiction game, anyone? by Fiammetta
I love self-fanfiction games. I'll offer two stories of mine (one's older and has a more established canon, the other is newer and is kind of considered "just for fun" at the moment), and I'm willing to do crossovers if anyone wants to see that.

The first is my story set in the American Revolution. These are the most prominent/developed characters, although some more minor characters could be included:
-The Dalton family (Richard, Anne, Peter, Rebecca, Susannah, and Daniel), a fairly well-off family from Boston with strongly pro-independence leanings
-Percy Fitzroy, a young, haughty British officer who is secretly in love with Susannah and eventually defects
-Simon Ainsley, Peter's best friend and comrade-in-arms, and in love with Rebecca
-Jules Le Sauvage, a highly intelligent French teenager who becomes Daniel's best friend
-Alastar McClery, a smart, cynical Irish soldier under Fitzroy's command
-Mary Wortham, a wealthy Boston loyalist girl
-Ralph Fitzroy (said "Rafe"), Percy's older and less restrained brother (since he's still in England, he only appears in flashbacks in canon)

The next is a story that I'm writing for fun (and that I might start using as my go-to Writing Room game story), centering on several graduate school students at some fairly to very prestigious American university, possibly/probably in the Chicago area. They are:
-Spencer H. Montgomery IV, a law student from a very wealthy family in the Boston area who is cynical, a self-proclaimed eccentric, and openly gay
-Roman Malinowicz, a Polish-born violin performance student who moved to the Chicago area when he was four or five who looks like he should be a serious, brooding artist but is actually a very cheerful person; he's also bisexual, but none of the other characters know at first (I wonder if you can guess where things between Spencer and Roman go...)
-Maya Solomon, a medical student from New York who is much bossier and more high-strung than she'd like to be, and is also the most emotionally perceptive of the characters, except in one particularly notable case...
-Caleb Hayashi, a biology student from San Francisco who plans to be a high school teacher, is the most calm of all of the characters, Roman's roommate, and likes to argue with Maya for some reason...
-Veronica Medina is a journalism student from either Texas or Florida who is somehow even happier and bubblier than Roman and has very high standards for her writing (she's Maya's roommate)
-Jonas Harper, a business student from somewhere in the Northeastern US (he and Spencer went to the same boarding school for high school) who is more of a secondary character than the others, Spencer's roommate, and, according to Spencer, likely to be a multimillionaire with a series of divorces and marriages to progressively younger women
