The main character is a young woman, Lindsay. A street smart, but under educated sweet heart. She grew up in foster care after her grandmother's death. She married young because she was pregnant, but her husband is emotionally and physically abusive. She forgets who she is in her first marriage, but later finds her internal strength and isn't a Mary Sue character.

Her first husband is Vince, short for Vincent. Italian police office in Philadelphia. He's a crooked cop who is killed by a drug dealer.

Her second husband is Owen. From a well-to-do family in upstate New York. He was Vince's college roommate. Lindsay ran to him because he lived hours away from Philadelphia and Vince never aliened him from Lindsay like he had their other friends.

Children:
Elijah, Eli. Vince's child.
Annabeth. Father undecided.
Benjamin, Benji. Owen's child.
Patricia, Trisha. Owen's child. Was supposed to be a boy named Patrick.
Jacklyn. Owen's child.
Zachary, Zackie. Owen's child.

Are there any names that seem to be out of place?

A unique first name and a normal middle is what every kid should have. Anything else is just mean.
