Charlotte climbed around on the bar stool, trying to sit on it, while Dylan was getting some wine for himself and a soft drink for her. The bar was crowded, so it took a while, and Charlotte gave up on trying to get on the bar stool and started to look around with big curious eyes. She noticed the man who had just appeared next to them. He looked nice, she thought, so she decided to talk to him.
"Hello," she said cautiously, caught between her curiosity and her shyness.
