Three children loitered nearby, watching the charmingly dressed couple laughing together.
"She looks like a princess," said Fox wistfully, wishing she had a cream dress like the one the glowing-skinned woman was wearing.
Auden snorted derisively. "And she probably knows it," she muttered, "Look at them. They look so up-themselves."
Ira cast a quick glance at his elder sister. "Ssh," he whispered, uncomfortably aware of how loudly she had spoken. Chances were, the couple had heard her.
