"Our mother picked our outfits, and you don't have to tell me it's ridiculous. People have been staring at us all night. Still, I suppose it's better than showing up to find that someone you've never met before is dressed exactly the same as you. That would just be embarrassing. And didn't I see someone earlier wearing exactly the same dress as the one you've got on? It looked better on her, too."
