Spencer laughed, too. "Personally, I tend to avoid flirting with plants. I tend to prefer someone a little more responsive." After hearing that story, it took all his self-control to avoid saying "Of course you're having a 'sex on the beach'" to Aurelia.
"Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll just have a glass of it myself," Spencer said before calling the bartender over and placing his order. "So, where are you from?"
