"Sometimes I can't sleep at night, too," Ira confided, "And I end up nearly falling up in school. Once, I actually did fall asleep, right in the middle of Science. Everyone else got up to get equipment for an experiment and I stayed where I was, asleep. It was really embarrassing."
Auden laughed cruelly. "If you're so embarrassed, why do you tell everyone that story? I'm sure I've heard it about ten times now."
Fox, meanwhile, was still thinking about the idea of aliens. "But what if they're really ugly and slimy and evil?" she asked Spencer, "Would you still be glad to find them then?"
