Charlotte giggled, obviously flattered. She liked these people, even if they were strange.
"Actually, I'll come with you," Dylan said with a smile, "I'm quite hungry myself." He was not going to let his daughter out of his sight at a party where there were lots of strange people around, particularly not in the company of this couple who apparently had no idea themselves where they were.
The four of them walked over to the buffet table, Charlotte on this strange lady's hand, but still sticking close to the side of her father.
