"What do you think," Aurelia asked looking at Saul, "should we ease him in or just go for it?" Aurelia and Saul for that matter, had spent many years teaching others how to master their own magic. She was no stranger to their reactions when shown something. Fainting was a popular one, screaming another, some people just sat there stunned and still others reacted different than that.
"Mmmm I say we go slow, it is his first time after all," Saul smiled as deviously as his own wife. She in turned laughed at his need to turn everything into sexual innuendo.
"Spencer," she said facing the man directly, "I specialize in the ability to transform my body into different shapes, objects and beings. Saul can do that too but he's much better at controlling other people. Making them feel or see or do things. We'll spare you that, even I find it unsettling."
"But magic can do much more than that," Saul explain as he walked over to Spencer. "You can feel it, like a force unto itself," grabbing Saul's arm he sent a small tingle of magic through him. He added more and more magic, a sensation that would cause someone to feel at ease and blissful, but the arm itself would feel like it had fallen asleep until the entire body felt electric. Saul did this until he himself felt tired, it was not an easy thing to transfer something which keeps you alive into another person.
"He can do more, make you feel things you'd never dream of feeling. Its like a trick," Aurelia shuddered, remembering some of the things their magic had done in times of wars past, "but you feel it forever. Never knowing which feeling or sensation or actions were you own. It is a hurtful thing to make someone feel something that they themselves did not feel. The sensation s so strong, that the person is left unsure of what is real and what is false for the rest of their lives."
"We can show you more, if you are not too...rattled?" Saul inquired, he was slightly short of breath, still tired. If Spencer wanted more, it would fall to Aurelia, though he trusted her not to turn into anything too horrifying.
if you read this earlier, I changed it because I can and I didn't like it haha
