I wrote a soliloquy(or monologue) a couple days ago. It was inspired by a short poem I saw on a Facebook page. All did was add on to it. Now, I don't know if you'd consider this a soliloquy, but I am, because I can see someone in a play or movie (or in real life). So here it is, and let me know what you think of it :);
You say that you love the rain, but you use an umbrella when it does
You say you love the sunshine, but you always hide in the shade
You say you love the wind, but then you take cover on windy days
So that is why I feel scared when you say "I love you"
But then the thing is,
I'm more scared to say that I love you
For I don't know how you truely feel;
I don't know how you feel about me
You say that other women have loved you before me;
You have loved other women before me
You call yourself a man whore,
so you see a reason why
I'm afraid to tell you,
that I love you
Because I don't know
If you will ever love me
But if you don't love me......
I don't think anybody else will ever....
If I die before I wake,
Will you be there to say your final good bye?
Will you wake up, sad tommorrow?
Please, you've done wonders
In fixing my broken heart
Don't break my heart....
For I would never break yours.
But what you don't know is that
My heart breaks everyday becasue of you
You've done nothing wrong
It's just that-
I love you.....
And that's that............
