But, I think there's no reason why you can't be a detective without a Watson. Even Holmes used to not have Watson around, right? And he spent The Lion's Mane alone, and Watson only helped a bit in The Mazarin Stone..." here Vincente promptly stopped himself from drowning the children in obscure references. "What I meant to say was: there's no reason not to be a detective alone. Having a friend is awesome, but it's not obligatory."
