Ira was silent for a few moments, trying to digest the idea that someone might not mind being labelled a 'freak' and, even more strange, that anyone could find it "interesting". He supposed that Auden didn't seem to mind what people thought of her, but she didn't exactly welcome being whispered about and poked fun of.
"I bet people thought Sherlock Holmes was a freak when he was a kid..." he said slowly; contemplatively, "I wonder if he minded."
