"Well this is about how Thea and me first became friends! It was at the begining of the my eight grade year, Thea and me had only known each other for two years but we only briefly acknowledged each other then. Thea just looked sad and lonely and I came up to her asking her if she wanted to hang out with me. But it didn't go as planned so I thought I would try a different time and didn't go according to plan either. I try severel times but each time Thea kept turning me away! It wasn't until Thea had visited my mom's flower shop that things started to get better between us. She had a small allergic reaction to the pollen from the flowers that my mom and me had to help her. She ended up leaving her jacket there and I went to her house to give back to her. Surprisingly though, when I went there I thought I hear 'Turning Zany' in the background but Thea denied that she had been watching it. At that Thea pretended to hate the show because she was afraid that she would be made fun of if people had found out about it. I asked Thea again if she wanted to hang out and this time she agreed. It went pretty well. I ask if she wanted to hang out again but kept on saying no. Thea had gotten really annoyed with me at this point and ended yelled at me to leave her alone. I was really hurt by that so I decided to leave her alone like she wanted. I saw Thea sitting alone one day and I decided to give it another shot. Thea told me that she was sorry for what she had said to me earlier and she asked me why I wanted to be friends with her. I simply told her, 'You looked sad and lonely, and it looked like you need a friends,' and then she told me about secretly being a 'Turning Zany' fan. We plan to watch the show together after that but it wasn't until later that we started to become best friends." Ellie had finished her long story, and took another piece of pie and a last sip of her soda.
