First of all, obviously many of these "cases" - or, who knows, even all of them - would never have been brought to either Art or Vincente's attention. Jerome would probably have been bothered severely by the phantom fisherman, James Carruthers would have been a bit perturbed about the mysteriously appearing violin, and Nina's letters... would never have even arrived, actually. Not to mention the other cases I haven't finalised.
Art would have lived his quiet life as an English teacher for some time, then met a woman at the library. They'd marry eventually, and will continue living that low-key, drama-free (unless when Jerome is hamming something up again) life.
Vincente would remain as eccentric as ever, perhaps even more so than he'd be with Art (with no-one to curb him down, he'll end up even more of a freak). He'll carry on his antiques business, although it would take him much longer to finally buy that terraced house, and will live and die a bachelor.
