My excuse is that I was trying to get it done last night before preparing a lesson for church and I was so concentrated on the song that I missed the rest. So, here goes nothing.
When she arrived at her apartment she removed her comfort shoes, worn to help her sore feet. That she blamed on her “vacation.” In reality she only owned two pairs of real heels. She left the discarded shoes in her living room to enter her closet.
Katie ripped the bland, shapeless, and frumpy clothing from the hangers. Even though she entered her closet almost every day, it still stunned her to realize she wore black and black not even because she liked black. No, it was easy to wear it. Plus she just never had the guts to put color on. Most of them were larger than her actual frame. She shoved them into a plastic bag. These items would haunt someone else.
