I think that anyone who's enough of a name nerd to possibly care about the fact that it's related to an extremely popular name would also know that it's a very old name and thus wouldn't think twice about it. I mean, you're not using one of the spellings that's currently popular. Personally, though, I might be bothered by the two Ds from an aesthetic standpoint; the way it has two Ds near the beginning and then just ends on an N looks a little off-balance to me. Of course, I've met a
Madalena, so that may be part of it.
