Well if the world that you are writing does have girls getting married/sex at 14 then you must say so in the novel.
My personal response as a young teenager is that as I already know in [our] history girls were married of young (and still are), I don't see any problem with your character :D
But if it is bothering you, check the different publishers recommendations, otherwise go with 14.
