I was just considering this the other day... I'm not really sure that I have one. Lately I've noticed that I just put the story away for a few days and think about what's wrong with it. Then I pretty much rewrite it from memory, putting in all the changes I thought might help. Of course, this probably only works for short stories. Rewriting a whole novel from memory might be a little tricky. :)
