This was no kind of relationship anyone wanted to be in...expecially Jane. After she landed this new job nothing has been the same. I love her and I always will, but this isn't good for anybody. It will be the hardest thing I've ever done.
She slipped under the sheets next to me, never meeting my gaze. Even in the dark I could see the tears.
"Jane...we can't go on like this.." I say softley, answered by sniffles, "I love you, you know that...but I think we should just try...seeing other people."
"I'm sorry! Please don't say this...I'm sorry." She says. Tears stain my shirt. I run my thumb across her cheek.
"Just remember, I'll always be here to wipe your eyes."
