More people are starting to write books about gods/goddesses and demigods/goddesses because of the popularity of the Percy Jackson books, although they're not all Greek/Roman. I can think of a kids series and a teen series, and a few couple stand-alone adult books. That said, they're not nearly as popular, like jennifer said, as vampire/were/paranormal books, so i think you're okay as long as you don't mirror a book or series out there too much.
