Behind the Name: Message: "Naming an alien race."

So, I'm going through some old stuff that I've written and I've come across an old prologue of mine, mentioning an alien race.

Currently, they are the 'Varmalians'... it was the first thing that had come to mind at the time, just so I could call them something.

However, I don't like that, and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
