(not in order)
- Female protagonists who ALLOW their male counterparts to treat them like sh*t 9i.e. Bella Swan and Ana Steele).
- Stereotypical Romani (a.k.a. gypsy, not that I want to use that word) characters who are nothing but stereotype i.e. one-dimentional. They ae a real ethnic group not some 'magical creatures'! (Not that I am Romani but i've done enough research to know a fair bit about their culture)
- Not so much character but also theme, works set in Transylvania just as a background for 'spooky-ness'. It's a real place, people!
- 'Faux Action-Girls/Guys' (the latter rarely shows up in fiction). This is a case of 'Show, don't tell'.
I'll probably think of more later.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
