I don't care for it when a discontented, disempowered female character is given the chance at taking control of her life - but only due to some extremely rare historic circumstance, and everything is supposed to return back to normal in the end, like that is fine, and she's supposed to be contented to settle back down as maybe a slightly more respected woman in basically the same world. What? She went back home and lived happily ever after? This seems pretty common in fantasy.
