"A combination of those things, I guess. There's just so much to do, and it's hard, and maybe if I really loved the law, I'd enjoy it, but I just..." He was now playing with one of the buttons on the cuff of his shirt, and he stared intently at it as he continued. "My parents agreed to pay for most of my education if I became a lawyer, and I mean, it turned out that I was pretty good at it, but it's still not what I'd have chosen. Not that I even know what I'd have chosen."
