Poor Dia; indeed, a lot of things could have been avoided if she had received some good help. And, fortunately, since my hobby is slowly fixing and reconstructing your broken things, I know just the right person to help her...
At last, the door swung open and a man walked into the room. Dia saw that he was just approaching middle-aged, with a thin, pale face and brown eyes peering from behind a pair of spectacles. Upon meeting her gaze, he smiled and sat down on the chair opposite hers.
"Miss Dia Tiernan," his voice had a raspy, grainy tone to it, but somehow managed to not grate on her ears. "Good morning. I'm Doctor Abraham Farkas; it's good to meet you." His lips curved into a small smile, warm but not saccharine; fatherly.
