Jules returned her smile, albeit a bit weakly. He watched her as she took her seat, waiting for her to be ready. As soon as she turned her attention solely on him, and without waiting for her to speak first, he started:
"I hear voices in my head, doctor," he said. He folded his hands neatly in his lap and continued: "They go on all the time, and sometimes they even argue with each other. Sometimes even with me. I think I might have multiple personalities."
