I snorted. Good first impression? When have I ever cared what another person thought of me? "I'm not hear to chitchat," I said. "Get on with your questions and let's get this over with."
The doctor smiled thinly. "Very well. I've been told that you have had some issues at the school you teach at."
"I'm on probation, what does that tell you?"
Dr. Torrio gave another weak smile. "You've been having a tough year. Tell me about this young girl."
I snorted again. "I don't want to." I didn't care if I sounded like a child, no one treated me like an adult anyway because of how young I looked. All I had to do was bulls%&# my way through the hour.
