This story confuses me, so I have a few questions:
1. Are Josh and Alec uncle and niece? That was mentioned in the preface, but I don't think it was mentioned again, unless I missed it.
2. Speaking of the preface, was it supposed to be an homage to "Lolita" with the first line? How old is Alec, and how old is Josh?
3. What's the story behind Josh wanting to be reincarnated and Alec being a witch? I need more information, pretty please.
