1. Yes, Josh and Alec are uncle and niece. If I'm thinking correctly, then Josh is a great-uncle to Alec. (You tell me: Alec's great-grandmother is Josh's half-sister. XD)
2. I'm not sure what you mean by homage to "Loita". Please elaborate.
3. Alec comes from a long line of witches. Josh wants to be reincarnated because both him and Alec can't be together as long as their uncle and niece. So, Josh finally figures out that if he can be reincarnated into someone else (specifically someone that isn't related to Alec), then he can be with her. :) Yay! Happy ending! Or is it? XD
This story is all fantasy. It's a series that has to do with my Death is Unpredictable story, but in an all new POV.
