I currently have a character named Sam, a twenty-six cheeky chap type guy. However the name no longer works but I need something similar.

The critera is really just English name, possibly short for something, fairly common, simple and clean cut. For me Sam sounds like it could be quite cheeky too so if a name could fit that, then I would be very happy.
