Oh I just adore it, and everyone I know in real life seems to hate it with a fiery passion. I actually just like Edie, but I'd never use a nickname alone, so it'd have to be Edith. While it seems like the majority of the population can't get enough of the "old Hollywood" names, I love the sixties, Worhol sort of names- Edie, Nico, Viva, etc.
