tried to explain it above. not sure if that makes it any better ;) but this site says some people pronounce AH and AW the same so maybe that's what you do? because to me the last syllable in Dionne sounds somewhat like -awn (kind of as in Dawn) but it's closer to dee-OHN. Argh sorry hahaha.
