With a short a? I thought it was a long one. To me it isn't the ph and th sound so much as the a sound that makes it hard to pronounce, since nobody is named Japheth you never hear it spoken so you don't know the sound.
Japh? Sounds like Jeff with a funny accent.
Lilith is hardest of all, the two l's so close together and the th. Seth is just ugly anyway.
