Evolet
in reply to a message by Amy
Evolet (pronounced like you want) was a character in "10000 B.C." and I think it's fairly familiar. Evelette looks like it would be said "EEV-let" to me, which is putting a really funny picture in my head - lots of little tiny Eves in a barnyard..... with the chicklets and piglets :D

I like names with some sort of etymological root though, so I wouldn't use a completely made up movie name that wasn't based off of pre-existing names. I don't like that "o" in the center. Yeah the problem seems to be pronunciation with Evelette, but I don't see a better, authentic-looking way to spell it. Oh well I guess...

How about Evalet? I still am not fond of it, but Evelyn can also be spelled Evalyn if one really wants to.
