I'll try anyway:

I know three from Germany. Two are in their mid 20s and one is in her mid 30s. The one in her 30s and one of the other two go by Lotte most of the time. They both live in the US now.

I know one from the UK who is in her mid 20s. She also lives here now.

in the US (born here):

two who are over 40 and friends with my mother
a 14 year old who goes by Charlie
three under 5 (4 of them babies)
a 5 year old Lottie, pretty sure her full name is Charlotte

I think it's way too common. I also think Katherine, Katharine etc are very common. Even more common than Charlotte.

Maeve is uncommon, only know one. Alison is super common. Madeleine is definitely common but not too common, in my opinion.

I would use Madeleine.
