Reply to: Pronunciation of -line names :) by Lily
Prn:
Caroline = -line
Rosaline = -leen
Emmeline = -leen, but wouldn't be surprised to be corrected to -line
Madeline = -lin
Adeline = in Europe, -leen or -lin, in UK/US/AUS -lin or -line
Madeleine = -line

Preferred prn:
Caroline = -line
Rosaline = -lin
Emmeline = -leen
Madeline = -line
Adeline = -line, -lin & -leen, probably in that order, but I can never work out which I like best.
Madeleine = -line
