Subject: Ph vs. F

So as I was listing F names, I realized I like using F generally more than Ph in names for some reason. For example I like Serafina more than Seraphina and Filip more than Philip / Phillip. I mean generally they kind of have different pronunciations, though Serafina stays along the same lines. I think I just like the ethnic pronunciation and look F brings while Ph seems so overly the top proper to me (though in some cases I like Seraphin more than Serafin) so I was wondering what other people preferred and why.

Seraphina vs Serafina
Philip vs Filip
Philomena vs Filomena
Raphael vs Rafael
Philippa vs Filippa
Joseph vs Josef
Josephina vs Josefina
Ophelia vs Ofelia
Sophia vs Sofia

Those are all I can think of at the top of my head, I know there's more (like Josepha) but you can add whatever. For me it's like:

Serafina
Filip
Filomena (Philomena doesn't seem usable to me, but Filomena sounds really sweet and pretty)
Rafael
Filippa
Joseph
Josephina
Ophelia (though Ofelia has really been growing on me)
Sofia

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else had strong opinions on it.
