I have a very similar issue. My BF's last name also starts with a "Sh-" and there are just some names you cannot use.
I mean, there are problems with every surname, you just have to work with the names you can and avoid the ones that sound silly with the surname.
Other names to avoid:
- Any names starting Sh (
Shane,
Shannon,
Shirley, ect)
- Any name ending in Sh (
Hamish,
Cash, ect)
- Any name that contains Sh in the middle (
Marsha,
Sasha, ect)
Perhaps the worst choice you could make?
