For as long as I can remember, I have loved Judeo-Christian names (for men) that end in
-ael,
-iel and
-uel. There is just something poetic yet distinguished about them that I find very charming and attractive. :)
We can all think of a few classics in that category, such as
Daniel,
Michael and
Samuel. Unfortunately, handsome though they may be, they are sorely overused. That is why I went to look for more uncommon and unusual names from that category, fortunately managing to find quite a few. They are all listed further below. Some of the names can actually be found in the Bible itself, others in other Judeo-Christian sources.
I would be curious to hear what your favourites are, which you would like to see used more often nowadays. Also, if you had to make a top 5 from this list, which names would you choose? Thank you for your thoughts. :)

"How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on... when in your heart you begin to understand... there is no going back? There are some things that time cannot mend... some hurts that go too deep... that have taken hold." ~
