Liana is very pretty and I really like it in theory, but I agree that it blends in with a ton of other trendy names in practice. I also find it a tad insubstantial. It's such a wispy, light sound without a lot of substance to back it up.
I love Linnea as well. It's a bit more familiar, so I don't think it would get lost as much, and it doesn't have as many trendy sounds as Liana.
Linnea gets my vote.
