That's way nicer than the french meaning; évadé(e) means fugitive or escapee. I've found a couple sites about "evadee airmen," WWII pilots and crews lost in France and trying to evade capture. I much prefer "girl who takes the right path." :)

I guess Evodie would be the nicer spelling, but I love the folksy, chickadee-like Evadee.
