I don't think so, I think it definitely needs to be Charles. Charlie feels too youthful and unprofessional. I personally love Charles as it is, sorry you don't! (And Charles Xavier is a fun association.)

Charles "Charlie" used to be high on our list, but DH said probably not because all he'd be able to think is "Wake uuuuuup, Chaaaarlieeeee!"
