They're yuppie kid names, in my experience. That is, names as likely to be used by educated professionals as by anybody else.

I think if someone like Francesca, say, went to the doctor today and the doc was about 30 and her name was Dr. Ocean Lewis, Francesca might think it didn't sound professional, because it sounds young and "new." But 20-30 years from now, when these kids are grown up, the style won't sound young anymore, it'll sound mature enough to be educated and professional. Just like Heather, Leslie, or Jennifer do now.

Educated professionals use trendy name styles. At least where I've lived, they do. Maybe it's a regional thing, with the "class" distinctions among Tracys and Michelles vs. Rebeccas and Elizabeths? I am from the Western US, and trendy-styled names always seemed to me to be better indicators of "upward mobility" or yuppie-ness, than traditional-styled names are indicators of class or status.
