Agree. It's not Meadow's parents who're creating the obstacles. The obstacles are the betas who believe that if your name isn't an outright salute to the values of your betters, you're probably short on conditioning (education and professionalism) and not suited to proper beta jobs. I would think that a Meadow's parents likely fancy themselves too smart to suck up to those obstacles, figuring that if employment requires a certain type of name, it's really not that professional anyway. If you're actually an educated professional, you're supposed to advance yourself on merit - the name Meadow or even Mykynzy won't cause you to flunk out of medical school, or prevent your art from receiving acclaim.
