I think I can. Maxwell has a long history as a given name. Hadley, Ainsley etc don't. They have more recently been discovered as first names and are therefore neutral to me. I know there was the occasional male Hadley, Schuyler, Lindsay etc but these have never been in common use. So to me it makes a difference. Their histories as given names are just not similar.
